MASTER'S CHOICE was submitted to the South African Bureau
of Standards for independent quality analysis. The food
is also regularly tested by the Central Agricultural Laboratories.
The tests carried out at the Central Agricultural Laboratories
(CAL) confirm that our products by far exceed the norms
set by AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials)
which have been adopted by the South African authorities
as the minimum standards for registration of dog food in
this country.
The AAFCO nutrient profiles include, inter alia, the following
values:

The four products in the range were also submitted to the Nutrition Laboratory, Department of Veterinary Ethology, Faculty of Veterinary Science of the University of Pretoria at Onderstepoort, for digestibility and energy trials. The results are shown in the table below:

NB - Apart from the above digestibility and energy tests,
as well as palatability trials conducted at Onderstepoort,
no tests on live animals were performed in the development
of MASTER'S CHOICE. No painful, invasive or lethal experiments
or tests were carried out and no diseases or growth abnormalities
were induced in any animals.
